We’re delivering, but with small delays in some areas.

Dear Customer,


Although we are processing orders as usual, we are experiencing some delays with deliveries typically taking between 2 and 4 working days from order, but sometimes up to seven. This is due to two reasons:


1. We have put social distancing measures in place in the warehouse which means staff are always at least 2m apart, which means our pick and pack rates are not quite as fast as usual. Warehouse staff are also wearing face masks to further improve safety, but they get hot more easily which slows the pace slightly. Pick and packing is, on average, taking between 1 and 3 working days from order but could be slightly longer depending on the number of orders we're processing at the time. All non-warehouse staff are working from home, which means if you call us you may have to queue for a minute or two before you speak to one of us; and don't be surprised if you hear some kids or a dog in the background!


2. Deliveries of Larger Items: Around 60% of deliveries are taking place as expected on a next working day basis, but around 40% are experiencing 1 to 3 day delays in the pallet delivery network. This is due to food and medical deliveries being prioritised over non-essential items, and some driver shortages. Deliveries of smaller items via Royal Mail: Covers and accessories are normally shipped by Royal Mail, we are experiencing deliveries taking as little as one day to reach the customer, but sometimes up to 10 days, but they are getting there. If you order a cover or accessory, please keep this in mind and we kindly ask for your patience.


We’re really sorry, but if your delivery is affected, we are not being notified of this by the delivery companies and therefore cannot notify you in advance. However, rest assured it will get there.


You can still place your order in confidence, but at this time we kindly ask for your patience and understanding if your BBQ takes slightly longer than usual to be delivered.


If it does not arrive within 7 working days of the order date please make contact with us and we will be able to assist. This enables us to focus on keeping up with dispatch in the warehouse to give everyone the quickest delivery possible.
